SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKE DAY

November 15, 2022

Photo Order form

Message from Legacy:

If you would like to have your child’s photo retaken or he/she was absent on our first picture day, please let your child and/or your child’s teacher know. The retake day for your student is November 15th. For retakes we do not schedule any appointments, the school determines the schedule. Please help your student be aware that they are having a retake.

For retakes, students bring their original picture package to the photographer. Legacy automatically prints the same package choice and mails it to the school. We will then send a replacement package for your child. The new photo will be utilized in the yearbook and the composite class photo.

Retake Delivery:

Retake delivery is the same as regular photo delivery, about 10 business days (the same time frame as the first picture day delivery).

Viewing and ordering photos: Photos may take up to 3 weeks from the date taken to be active on the link. If possible, we recommend using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome on a computer or tablet to place your purchase as some computer and phone browsers may not be compatible with our complete website functionality.

What if a student misses both dates due to absences? We are only at the school on our confirmed Picture Day dates. Anyone is welcome to sit for us at our Legacy Studio in Chester, CT on a Saturday if they wish to do so. Retake/Absentee Day is scheduled about 35 days after the original Picture Day. If a parent would like to drive to our Cheshire Studio on a Saturday, they can schedule this appointment by emailing the Customer Care Team at [email protected]

A MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE TEAM

When your child is absent or will be late please call the absence line to report this at 860-5370717 and press 1. Give your child's full name, teacher, and the reason why they will be late or absent. To follow up, we require written communications to excuse tardiness and absences within (10) days. In the case of an emergency change, call the office at 860 537 0717.

If you need to change your child's after-school transportation or you need to pick them up early, please send A Note to the CES Office in the morning with your child. The notes are easily utilized as they have spaces for your child’s full name, teacher's name, your full name, the date, and a multitude of reasons that you can check off. The notes are then placed on a list by the teacher, and the office creates sheets of data for all dismissal personnel. We understand that emergencies do happen and in that case, email may be used. All changes must be made prior to 2:30 p.m.
