2022 Read Across CES

Spreading the Joy of Reading

Dear Families,

During the month of March, we are excited to celebrate reading.  One of our favorite Storytellers, Len Cabral will be in-person sharing storytelling performances on Friday, March 4th.  Each performance will be 30 minutes long.  During his visit, Len will share his newest Haitian tale from his book How the Rabbit Lost Its Tail.

We always enjoy having Len visit and share his tales!  If you’d like to learn more about this national Read Across America, check out this site with free resources and tips about reading at home.

Our amazing CES PTO will be hosting the Book Swap on March 16th - 18th.  Students will be able to choose a book or two from donations received.

Please join us in welcoming Ms. Kathleen Asselin as our CES Social Worker.  We are very excited to have her join our team!  She has enjoyed getting to know our students.  She has jumped right in and is eager to support our young Cardinals. This is such an important position in our school community and we are thankful for her expertise and support!

Be well,
